  1. Representatives Marler and Thane,

Missoula County supports HB 368, Revise shared use path funding, up for hearing this morning in the House Taxation Committee. This bill would dedicate 4% of recreational marijuana tax for the maintenance and repair of state-maintained shared use paths. Missoula County has maintenance agreements with the Montana Department of Transportation on a number of shared use paths, including the Bitterroot Trail, Piltzville trail that runs between Bonner and Turah and the AJ Hoyt Memorial Trail that runs out in the vicinity of Frenchtown. This bill would dedicate funding to do much needed maintenance and repair on these trails.

    Please support HB 368.
