Missoula County supports SB 442: Allow marijuana tax revenue to be used for county road maintenance, up for hearing Friday morning in Local Government. This bill would provide another much-needed funding source for maintaining and repairing county roads and would alleviate some of the burden on property tax payers. Missoula County alone would receive an estimated $114,000 annually to put toward the 447 miles of road we maintain.
